A Pocket favorite since 2008 the Slingers will return with a special Valentine's Day concert. One of the most unique musical acts in Texas, the Slingers specialize in the popular music of 1900-1935 with an infectious mixture of rags, marches, one steps, two steps, waltzes, tangos, and fox trots. The orchestra uses vintage stock arrangements that are true to the era, some dating back as far as the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. It’s a musical experience you won't want to miss, sure to put you and yours in the spirit of the season!
Tickets are $16. Doors open at 6:15 for food and beverage. Reservations Recommended.
Another Dallas favorite (and they have been for a long time), these legends of the ’60s just get better with age, and their popularity proves it. Headliners for years at the old Levee Club, these guys are always fresh and fun.

The band that's put the SWING back into big band in an encore performance on Tuesday March 25, 2014.
With a collection of some of Dallas' best musicians specializing in popular music from the 30’s and 40’s, this band fills the gap between the "Singapore Slingers" and "Dallas Doo Wop." Pecos River Brass has taken songs by example from composers Gershwin, Ellington, Rogers & Hammerstein and arranged them in the tradition of Count Basie and Woody Herman, with much of their repertoire hand written by the band leader, John C. Smith.
Start off 2014 with a good “note,” come and listen to Pecos River Brass!
Doors open at 6:15 for seating and food and beverage. Show at 7:30 pm. Tickets $15.
We're keeping our fingers crossed that “Lu Mitchell” and her great band Catch 23 return from semi-retirement for their St. Patrick's Day holiday special. Known as Dallas’ First Lady of Song and Wickedly Hilarious Satire, long-time area favorite Lu Mitchell is one of the funniest entertainers in town. In addition to her own fiendishly funny songs, she will feature songs (and singalongs) appropriate to the upcoming holidays. She’ll knock your socks off! Rated “PG.”
