Each year on Thanksgiving we celebrate the anniversary of opening The Pocket in 1980 and present awards to employees and others that have assisted us in the past year or years. 

The Circle of the Golden Mask Award honors two people that went above and beyond the call of duty of theater, be it direction staff, musicians, choreographers or, of course, our very talented actors and actresses …. or the two that flattered us the most if we didn’t have any of those.

Lucille Green was a long time friend and patron of PST who came to every show, usually more than once.  She loved The Pocket, we loved her, and was quite the character even though she tested the patience of our kitchen staff by sending back everything she ordered… at least once.  It is for this last reason that she is the namesake for the Lucille Green Award in which we recognize exceptional customer service for the year.  We certainly couldn’t survive without our teenagers who end up doing a lot of the grunt work which includes dealing with tons of popcorn and dirty dishes...also the one least likely to go to reform school. Thus, the Keen Teen Award.
